Duke House - A Unique Bed & Breakfast
All rooms have en-suite facilities and all guests have use of the sitting room, breakfast room and balcony - we are just a 5 minute walk to the centre of the historic university city of Cambridge.
Room Rates for 2023
Prices are per double en-suite room, per night with breakfast, for 2 people inclusive of VAT at 20%.

Minimum Stay. Please note the Company operates a two night minimum stay policy at weekends in our B&B rooms and a 3 night minimum stay at all times in our self-catering apartment. The exception to this is a one night stay booking can be made, subject to availability, within one week of your proposed arrival date. On occasions we do have one night stays available more than one week in advance, email us to see if this is possible for the date you require, although we cannot guarantee this.
We are sorry. We are unable to accommodate children under the age of 10 years or pets. Children are welcome in the Duke Apartment.
Payment Policy. 20% deposit is charged at the time of your reservation for stays of 3 nights or more. The remaining balance will be payable on departure. (If you would like to make other payment arrangements for the balance, please notify us prior to your arrival date).
Cancellation Policy. Cancellations made more than 14 days before your arrival will receive a refund less £25.00 processing fee. For cancellations made within the 14 day period, we will do our best to re-book your room. If we cannot, you will be responsible for the full amount of your reservation. ‘No shows’ will be charged the full price.

Planning Your Stay
If you are visiting for a special occasion – graduation, wedding, birthday celebration, reunion – just let us know and we will do all we can to make sure you have everything you need to make it perfect. If you would like help planning your stay let us know and for a small fee we can arrange a personal itinerary for you including bookings, tickets etc. Just call us to discuss and then let us take the strain!

With five rooms, Duke House is also ideal for families and friends looking to stay together.
Travelling with Children?
As parents, we know all too well the difficulty of finding accommodation in the UK that matches a high level of comfort with suitability for young ones. In an ideal world we would make Duke House such a place, but the physical characteristics of the building means that it is not well suited to children under 10 years old. Children are welcome in the Duke Apartment. Please contact us for further information.
Travelling with pets
We love animals at Duke House, and have Georgie the bossy Miniature Schnauzer and Sirvivor our huge goldfish. However, sadly we are unable to accommodate your dog at Duke House.
